Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

I had fun creating a background using Distress Oxide inks this week.  I love the way they just melt into each other – and these three colours just go so well together.  I kept the rest of the card clean and simple to create a card perfect for a Dad’s birthday or even Father’s Day!!  By the way, our sister Challenge (the Monday Team) have a masculine themed challenge this week so make sure you link up your creation to both challenges for two chances to win!!

Avery Elle … Mom and Dad

Hi there!  I have a card to share today using the gorgeous Mom and Dad stamp set from the latest release from Avery Elle Stamps.  I paired this set with the stunning Heart Frame die which I die cut from gold glitter adhesive paper – LOVE!!  I stamped the sentiment and flower cluster in gold embossing powder and filled it in using Nuvo Jewel Drops to add some subtle colour.  The glossy, dimension looks fab!  For a little background interest I spritzed the card base with some gold splatters <3

This week we are showcasing products from Technique Tuesday.  You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

Hey – it’s Wednesday and time for a brand new challenge.  I chose to work with a gorgeous, summery hibiscus stamp design from Technique Tuesday for my card this week.  I love the size of the flower in this set, and the font is gorgeous.  I stamped the flower in black and then coloured it with Copics.  The base of the card has been stencilled using the Tiny Dots stencil from Simon Says Stamp – my favourite stencil of ALL TIME!!  I added a touch of gold with some Washi tape, fine gold thread and finished with some little dots of Nuvo drops in Orange Marmalade.
