Simon Says … Tag, You’re It with Ranger

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Tag, You’re It 

This week we are showcasing Ranger Products this week. You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

50dollar_voucher_600pxI’ve been getting inky with Distress Inks this week – can’t wait to get my hands on the new Distress Oxides too – they look so much fun!!  Today I’ve created a tag shaped card using the A Tag For die set from Avery Elle and the Olive Branch die from memory Box.  After blending some colour onto my panel and adding some Shimmer Spritz I die cut it then added it to the front of an A2 white card.  Thue Hugs sentiment id from the Avery Elle Simply Said Hugs collection.

Avery Elle … Time To Party

Oops, this should’ve gone up yesterday – forgot to schedule it!  I’m sharing a card made using Time To Party from the latest Avery Elle release.  This is such a useful set and I love that it can be customised for any birthday.  I’ve made a wee 4-bar sized sweet 16 card and just simply added some colour to the stamped image and set it against a stencilled background of gold, shimmery polka dots.

I know we’re nearly at the end of February but I couldn’t resist sharing a Christmas card made with some of my all-time favourite products.  The Believe In The Season stamp set is probably my favourite Simon Says Stamp stamp set of all time – I absolutely love it.  Paired with the Gingham Background Cling Stamp and the Perfect Bow it creates a lovely, homey feel.  The deer was embossed with Gold Tinsel embossing powder – you don’t see the text detail of the stamp with this one but I don’t think that’s a problem!  The patterned paper I used is from My Mind’s Eye Sugar Plum paper pad which unfortunately is no longer available, but there are TONS of other papers that could be used for the same effect.
