Hey! So as we all enjoyed our Christmas through the year series in 2018 Jenn Shurkus and the gang (Chari Moss, Libby Hickson, Cheiron Brandon and ME) have decided to keep it going through 2019. I missed the January edition but have managed to get one done this month! If you’re the type that when it gets to November/December you say, “shoot, I should’ve started my holiday cards MONTHS ago”, then this is the place for you. We each try to post a holiday card on the third Thursday of every month. We don’t always manage it but we do try!!!
I’ve used a variety of different products/brands on this card. I sometimes forget that I can do that, lol!!! I started with a background using the Wood Plank stamp from My Favourite Things with Avery Elle Kraft pigment ink. I die cut an Oval Burst Frame from Avery Elle from white cardstock and blended a little Kraft ink around the centre just to give it a little more of a vintage look.

I stamped one of the deers from Avery Elle’s Kitsch Christmas (now retired, sniff) along with the Santa hat from Avery Elle’s Dear Santa set and coloured them with Copics. The holly leaves are from the Sunny Studio Christmas Trimmings stamp set. Once everything was stamped and die cut I assembled it all onto an A2 card base.
Happy Holidays!!

Supplies:
MFT Wood Plank Background Stamp
Avery Elle Oval Burst Elle-ments
Avery Elle Kitsch Christmas (retired)
Avery Elle Dear Santa Stamp Set
Sunny Studios Christmas Trimmings Stamp Set
I’m over on the Avery Elle Blog with a look at the fantastic Peek-a-Boo Pets stamp set along with the equally wonderful Market Stand set – both from the current Spring release.
Oh my gosh – to say these stamp sets are a match made in Heaven would be an understatement. Those critters are just screaming to be put inside that booth! And who wouldn’t want to give that piggy the biggest squeeze ever??!!
I started with an A2 card base and lightly blended some Tumbled Glass Oxide ink with a little Silver Fox Pigment ink onto the background. I added a few splatters of water and a little white paint and set it aside to dry.
Meanwhile I stamped all my images and coloured them with Copics before die cutting everything out. I used one of the hearts in the Market Stand set to decorate the booth – so cute!
To finish I added all my elements with foam tape and added glossy accents here and there for some extra texture.
