Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Things With Wings Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

Bright and Cheerful

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

The Happy Rainbows Stencil set is such a fun and versatile product. Its a large stencil so I was able to create two cards with one stencilled piece – bargain!!!

For this Bright and Cheerful challenge I picked some of my favourite Concord and 9th inks (Poppy, Honeysuckle, Grapefruit, Buttercup, Marmalade, Ballet Slipper ) and blended them to create a citrusy coloured rainbow. I then used the patterned stencil with some Altenew White Embossing Paste and added some glitter whilst it was still wet. To finish I added a sentiment using the Simon Says Stamp Happy Combos Stamps and Dies.

I created a second card using the other half of the stencilled design and paired it with the Simon Says Stamp Birthday Wishes die set.

Things With Wings

We are showcasing Memory Box Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I absolutely love the Azure Dragonflies Dies from Memory Box – they are so delicate and detailed. I die cut them from foiled card and layered the wings with vellum. I paired them with some simple die cuts and a panel of patterned paper.

Beautiful Blooms

We are showcasing Paper Rose Studio Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I started by embossing a piece of Distress Watercolour Paper using the Paper Rose Buffalo Plaid Embossing Folder. I then smooshed it into some watered down Distress Oxide Spun Sugar ink. I also spritzed it with Distress Spritz in Kitsch Flamingo.

I then die cut some Snowbell flowers from Simon Says Stamp and adhered them to the card front using foam tape. To finish I added a Hugs sentiment using the Altenew Pocket Sentiments stamps and dies and a bow from Simon Says Stamp Pretty Bows die set.
