Simon Says … Funny/Punny featuring Riley & Co

Image

Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. Thank you for joining us for the  Clean and Simple Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too

This week the challenge is

We are showcasing Riley & Co Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

As a Halloween lover I thought the stamp I picked (Boo-ological Clock) was very appropriate!!!I created my card using a landscape A2 white card base and added a mat of cerise pink card which I used my Tim Holtz Edge Distresser tool on.

I created a background on Distress Watercolour cardstock with Distress Oxide ink (Wilted Violet and Picked Raspberry) and finished with Distress Spritz in Tattered Rose.

I stamped and die cut three of the hats from the Simon Says Stamp If the Hat Fits stamp set and fussy cut them. I coloured them using Distress Watercolour Pencils.

I added some cobwebs which were cut using the Tim Holtz Frightful Things die set and finished by stamping the sentiment in Grape ink.

As always Simon Says Stamp will be giving away $25 voucher to shop at the fabulous Simon Says Stamp Store

Love

I finally managed to get hold of the gorgeous Honey Bee Stamps Vintage Reindeer die collection. I know I missed the boat to create a Christmas card but that doesn’t mean I can’t create a Valentine’s card does it?

I die cut her using different shades of pink card. The mat layer is done using a Thermoweb Foiling Card Front and added pink foil.

I added a die cut sentiment using the Pinkfresh Studio Everyday Sentiments. I added die cut foliage using the Tim Holtz Vintage Sled set and the Vellum heart was made using one of the die from the Tim Holtz True Love die collection.

I made a second card with similar supplies for a pink Christmas design!

Enjoy

I was recently contacted by a fellow crafter in search of the Avery Elle Balloon Alphabet dies. I still had them in my stash so I sent them off to her. Before I did though, I wanted to create a card to send with them so created this.

I used the Concord and 9th Plaid background stamp set and die cut the letters from Distress Watercolour card and finished with Glossy Accents.

I added strings and some clouds and that was it finished!
