Hi all and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge

Make It Sparkle 

This week we are showcasing Hero Arts Products.  You don’t have to use them for the challenge but if you have them we would love to see them used.

I’ve gone back to my CAS roots with this card.  I used the mistletoe branch form Happy Hollydays from Hero Arts and simply heat embossed it in gold and speitzed the whole thing with some sheer sparkle spray.  When that was dry I added some subtle colour using a green Zig Clean Colour marker and added a bit more shimmer with Heidi Swapp gold sparay and Spectrum Noir sparkle pen.

Simon Says … Add Some Shimmer

Thank you for joining us for the Animal Magic Challenge and we hope you will all join us again this week too.

This week the challenge is

ADD SOME SHIMMER

Sharing an inky, splattery explosion for this week’s challenge!  Not really my usual go to technique but I think I could get to quite enjoy it!  I created a panel using (yes, you know it – Wonky Stitches from Avery Elle), and inked in up using Spiced Marmalade Distress ink.  I then got the Lindy’s Gang solutions Pineapple Paradise and High Maintenance Magenta and added tonnes of splatters.  When that was all dry I used the MISTI to stamp over it using the Butterflies set and Big Greetings (Avery Elle) multiple times for a good dark impression.  I then used the same colours as a paint for the butterfly!.

Avery Elle … Be a Unicorn

I have a card using one of my favourite sets from the CHA 2016 release from Avery Elle up today – Be A Unicorn.  This set was designed by my fellow teamie, Heather and I just love it.  I paired it with a few other Avery Elle essentials to create this card from my niece’s first birthday.  I love the Avery’s Alphas dies for personalising a special birthday card.
