Avery Elle … A Head Above

Hey there, I’m up on the Avery Elle blog today and I have a slimline card design using the cute A Head Above stamp set.  The critters in this set are so adorable – especially that giraffe – I love him!!!

I created an 8×4 inch card base and cut a separate strip of white card for the front.  I blended 3 purple ins shades to give an ombre effect and then spritzed it with Ranger picket fence spray.I stamped and die cut some of the critter images and the bunting and added a scallop border in black using the Dotted Border Dies.

Avery Elle Spring 2021 Blog Hop

Hello there Avery Elle fans. Today is the day! The brand new Spring 2021 release from Avery Elle is here. I am in love with the new products in this release – there’s something for everyone

I’m sharing a card using two of the new products – Loads of Hello and Rainbow Builder. So many things you can do with these sets.

I started by stamping the heart cluster from Rainbow Builder onto my card base in green. Then chose pastel inks to build my rainbow and clouds.

As a bold contrast I stamped and die cut the “Hey” and “I Miss You” from the Loads of Hello set in black. Fun sets huh?

Avery Elle … Peek A Boo Christmas Train

Hey there, popping in with a festive little card featuring the Peek-a-Boo Christmas Train stamp set and the Happy Holidays die.  I decided to take the elements from set and create a scene based around the large Happy Holidays sentiment rather than in the train.  It’s sometimes fun to mix and match the sets up!

I die cut the Happy Holidays from red card then to give it a fun, snow-covered look I used a product that’s quite new to me – Neon Amplify from Tsukineko.  It’s a pigment ink that puffs up like snow when you heat it with a heat gun.  It’s very addictive – be warned!

For my card base I used some snowfall paper from the Holidays Paper Pad and set it behind a white Postage stamp frame (now retired).  I added this to the card front then stamped, coloured and die cut my reindeer, tree and presents and tucked them into the frame.  To finish I added some glitter here and there for extra sparkle!
