Faux-marquetry with Taylored Expressions.

Hi there.  I’m over on the Taylored Expressions blog again today featuring a card I made that showcases how amazing the Taylored Expressions steel dies are.  I used the gorgeous Ray Of Sunshine cutting plate and the Tiptoe Through the Tulips dies with some wood veneer sheets.  I used two different shades for a lovely, marquetry-style effect.  I do love how this came together in the end, if I do say so myself (modest much???)

Thanks 1

Thanks 2

For all the details on how I made this card please check out the Taylored Expressions Blog.

You’re My Hero: TAYLORED EXPRESSIONS

Hello there.  Today I’m over on the Taylored Expressions blog with a couple of funky cards created using the fantastic You’re My Hero stamp set and co-ordinating dies.  I picked this set as three of my children play rock instruments and so this set is going to be VERY useful for them and their rocker friends!

I made 2 cards using one of the guitar images and that amazing splatter background – I LOVE it!

There’s lots of heat embossing going on and with the addition of a few carefully placed sprinkles (Doodlebug) the cards came together very easily (thanks to the amazing stamps of course).

Life is a Journey.

Hi there – just popping in with a cheery little card I made using some yummy stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions.  I love the little picket fence and grass border dies – they make creating little scenes like this so easy!

Life is a journey

I’m back over on the Taylored Expressions blog later featuring another fabulous set – Under The Sea– and even better – there’s a chance to win it too!!

See you soon,
