Hop To It

So you’ve probably seen the sneaky peeks popping up all over Instagram and Facebook but today the Hop To It release from Simon Says Stamp is finally available to purchase.  There is such a fabulous range of products included in this release – amazing stamp sets, dies and stencils – it’s got something for everyone!

I was very privileged to be sent a few goodies to play with and was immediately drawn to the Abby’s Spring Showers stamp set and dies.  I love the simple style of Abby and had to include her cute little bunny, they are so fun to colour!  I think we’ll be seeing a lot of her around blogland!

Of course I HAD to work with some of my gorgeous Clearly Besotted products for this challenge – how could I not??  I used one of the new stamp sets from the January 2015 release – Baby Shower.  I stamped the elephant on linen cardstock with Raspberry pigment ink from Avery Elle.  I love the textured effect – it looks like the elephant is made of fabric!  I made this card for a friend who recently had his frst baby so to personalise it I used the new Elle’s Alphas stamps for the date and Lawn Fawn’s Milo’s ABC’s for the name.  I created the aperture using the Simon Says Stamp stiched circles.

When I saw the featured companies this week were Glitter Ritz and Wink of Stella how could I not be more thrilled.  Glitter just makes EVERYTHING BETTER!  I created this little 4-bar sized card (my new favourite size) with just a few gorgeous supplies – the Mini Hearts die from Simon Says Stamp (probably one of the items that would be on my desert island assuming there was a Big Shot too!!), some narrow double sided tape, glitter and a stamp!  I love the fine glitter from Glitter Ritz and the Robin’s Egg colour is just STUNNING!  The red hearts are actually cut from my everlasting sheet of red glitter wrapping paper I bought about 2 years ago!  I love these two colours together – so pretty!
