10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge #30

I know I’m 6 days late posting this as the new 10 Minute Craft Dash challenge went live last Wednesday – oops!  As I mentioned in my last post, crafting had to take a very back seat for me for a wee while but I’m starting to get back in there and didn’t want to pass on my DT commitments!Craft Dash # 30

CD_30All I can seem to make are Christmas cards at the moment so I took the colours and paired them up with the In Stitches and Holiday Sentiments set from Clearly Besotted and Holiday Lights from PTI.  I love that little penguin!!  Please pop by Paulina’s fabulous new look blog for all the challenge details and to gather more inspiration from the rest of the DT girls.  There’s also a great prize on offer too from this week’s sponsor!

The Less Is More Challenge this week is also asking us to create a Christmas project featuring birds – how appropriate for this card!!  It’s also a one-layer card so very easy to mail – may add this to the “mass production” pile!

Right, time’s ticking on and I’ve got work to do – have a great day everyone.

ps, Inlinkz is playing up for me today so will pop back later and add my supply list.

Better late than never!

ChallengeHello, sorry I’m sharing this a wee bit late but as they say, rather late than never. The November Challenge over at Clearly Besotted kicked off yesterday with a festive CHRISTMAS theme.  My card features the gorgeous poinsettia from Pretty Poinsettias and I’ve layered it a bit and coloured it with Copics.  The sentiment is a couple of Memory Box dies that I’ve coloured in a two-tone effect, again with Copic markers.

pretty poinsettiaRight, better get back to work – Mondays suck!!

10 Minute Craft Dash #29 – two for the price of one!!!

CD_29It’s time for another 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge and this time round Paulina’s asking us to feature buttons.  I have SO MANY BUTTONS but they’re not something I use all that much.  Guess this is the perfect challenge to use those supplies that we all have lurking in our cupboards and drawers!

I actually made two cards for this challenge and both were done in super-quick time – especially the second one – just over three minutes!!In Stiches Snowflake button

I’m really whizzing through these Christmas cards – have a good wee stack sitting there now!

The sponsor this time round is Denami Design who are offering one lucky winner a $20 store credit – woohoo!  Head over to Paulina’s blog Pretty Pink Posh for all the deets and for more button inspiration!
