Hello – I’m over on the Avery Elle blog today with a fun little card featuring the GORGEOUS festive stamp set – North Pole. I LOVE the little penguins in this set – there’s some fabulous little images too. I used the curved die from Custom Panels for the snow slope and the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp again (my favourite stencil at the moment!)
All these little Christmas scenes are filling me with festive spirit – I can’t wait!!
Hello crafty peeps – today I’m over on the Avery Elle blog sharing a card featuring one of my favourite sets from the Fall release – Be Jolly. This is another set designed by the insanely talented Heather Campbell – isn’t that the cutest snowman ever?? I created a panel by cutting a snow slope from white card using Custom Panels and layered it onto some Sea Glass card. I then used Finished Frames to cut the two-tone panel. The background effect was created with the Falling Snow stencil from Simon Says Stamp with white embossing paste which I then coated with Glitter Ritz white glitter. I finished the top of the slope with white Flower Soft (which I added to the snowman’s hat too)!.

Hi – today I have a card using the gorgeous Look Up set from Avery Elle. I stamped the sentiment and a couple of clouds onto some Tim Holtz water colour paper and then heat embossed them in white. I then played with some distress inks (Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade) by dabbing them onto an acrylic block so the whole thing was covered in ink and then heavily spritzed with water. I turned the block over and pressed down and let it sit for a few seconds. When you remove the block you are left with a gorgeous mix of colour – and no two are ever the same! I LOVE this technique!
The panel was simply mounted onto a white A2 card base – the colour is so vibrant – I love it!!
