Avery Elle Winter 2018 Release Blog Hop

Hey there!  I’m so excited to tell you that the Avery Elle Winter 2018 release is now live!  There’s so much fun in this release and there’s something for everyone – hop along for lots of inspiration and all the details on the new products.  You should’ve landed here from the Avery Elle Blog but a full list of hoppers is below if you want to start at the beginning.

For my card I’m sharing a design using the fabulous And Then sentiment set along with a new die called Tons of Hearts.I created a piece of background paper using  Avery Elle Cherry Liquid Watercolour.  I then used the Tons of Hearts die to create a panel and adhered the watercolour piece behind it.  I wrapped some twine around the bottom of the panel and stamped the “I Choose You Sentiment” from And Then in Magenta Pigment ink in the centre of the panel.  To finish I added a small blob of glossy accents to the tiny heart in the centre of the “O”

The next stop on the hop is the fabulous Heather Campbell.

Avery Elle Blog Hop Summer 2018 Release

Hey there!  It’s Avery Elle Summer Release Day!  Woohoo!  You should have arrived here from the Avery Elle Blog but if you’re lost, you can find a full list down below!

I’m delighted to be sharing a card using one of the sets I designed in this release, Fuchsia and co-ordinating elle-ments.  Fuchsias are  one of my favourite flowers of all time, they remind me of little ballet dancers!!  I used one of the pieces of water coloured yupo paper I created in THIS video from a few weeks ago.  I dropped Avery Elle liquid water colours in Cherry, Fizz and Mimosa onto the paper and it gave me a gorgeous peachy coloured effect.  I added this as a background to a die cut I created using another of our fabulous new dies from this release, Focal Point Stripes.  I then stamped the Fuchsia images onto white watercolour card using Versamark and heat embossed it in Avery Elle Rose Gold Embossing Powder (swoon).  I then coloured it with the same Cherry, Fizz and Mimosa liquid watercolours and Celery for the leaves.

I stamped one of the gorgeous sentiments onto a 41/2 x 5 1/4 card and heat embossed it with the Rose Gold powder.  To finish I picked out some peach coloured sequins to finish it off with some sparkle.

Supplies:

Fuchsia Clear Stamps

Fuchsia  Elle-ments

Focal Pint Stripes Elle-ments

Liquid Watercolors

Rose Gold Embossing Powder

Make sure you hop on over to my chum Heather Campbell to see what delights she has in store for you.  Happy Hopping!

Avery Elle … Hand Drawn Florals

Hey, I’m over on the Avery Elle Blog sharing a card using the very pretty and versatile Hand Drawn Florals stamp set.  I love the whimsical feel of the flowers and they are so fun to colour.  Today I’ve used the Sapphire and Mint to Be liquid watercolours mixed with some subtle shimmer and a few Nuvo drops here and there for added bling.

I started with a stone coloured card base and added a white die cut using Horizontal Stripes (my favourite!).  I stamped the flowers using Versamark ink onto the textured side (just for a change) of some Tim Holtz watercolour cardstock and heat embossed them with Avery Elle Silver embossing powder I painted them with the watercolours and then decided to fussy cut them instead of die cut them with the dies.

I then simply arranged the flowers how I wanted them to the card front and finished with a sentiment from the Floral Bouquet set and a few clear sequins.
