I have been loving all the gorgeous little treat boxes and bags I’ve seen popping up all around blogland! It’s the season for giving so with that in mind I thought I’d grab the new Classic Bag die from Avery Elle along with my Pick n Mix set and create a sweet treat bag.  I die cut the bag and stamped the gummy bears and love hearts from the Pick n Mix set all over it before colouring them with Copics.  I assembled the bag and closed it up with some gorgeous natural twine from May Arts.

Avery Elle – Fa La La

It’s Avery Elle post day on my blog and today I’ve been mostly blending Distress inks!  Yes, I’m getting addicted – I can’t stop.  I used a combination of Festive Berries and Spun Sugar to create the base of my card and added some spritzing of Perfect Pearls solution and extra distress ink. The wreath from the Fa La La set was stamped and die cut twice – once in Celery pigment ink and once in Jungle.  The banner was stamped in Cherry ink and die cut.  To finish I popped the die cuts onto some foam tape and adhered everything to a white card base.

I’m starting to feel very Christmassey already – it must be all the festive cards I’ve been making lately, lol!

Thanks for stopping by. xxx

Avery Elle – Dashing

Hello and happy Monday!  I’m literally DASHING into to share a card which is over on the Avery Elle blog today.  I created a subtle background pattern on my card base using Sea Glass Pigment Ink and a snowflake from the Noel stamp set.  I wanted my focal image to really pop so kept everything subdued.  I die cut a small panel using the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments and stamped the sentiment from Dashing in Sea Glass ink also.    I stamped the car and tree image in black and coloured it using Zig Clean Colour markers.  To finish I added some bling to the snowflakes and tree and popped it up on the card front using foam adhesive.
