Avery Elle … Beary Sweet Wishes

Hey there. Here with a bright and cheerful card using the Beary Sweet Wishes stamp set from Avery Elle (which I just happened to have designed – grin)! I think I should send this to myself this week as I very much need a hug. One of my beautiful cats was tragically killed on Saturday in a hit and run. I’m so sad. She was such a special cat, so affectionate and loving. She has left a huge hole in our lives 🙁 – We’ll miss you so much Talullah xxx

Beary Sweet Wishes

(Wipes tears) – I stamped and embossed the bears in white and then used Clean Colour Markers to colour them in. Love the juicy colours – they look good enough to eat!!

Avery Elle… Viking

Sorry I’m posting this a day late – it should’ve gone up yesterday! My pattern is still totally off since returning from CHA in Anaheim – this jet lag is really something else!! I can’t say I’m complaining though – I had the BEST time in the world. Meeting up and getting to know some of my other Avery Elle teamies was just amazing. Love those girls Jamie, Heather, Karolyn and Katie.

So onto today’s card. I’ve been playing with the cuter-than-all-get-out Viking set and I LOVE it. So fun to colour and at only $4 is a must-have!

How adorable is he?? This is a wee 4-bar sized card and I used the smaller Wonky Stitches frame on some woodgrain cardstock for my panel. He was coloured with Copics then mounted on foam tape. The hearts were stamped and cut using some red cardstock then I filled them in with a white gel pen.

Simon Says … Something New

As this goes live I will (hopefully) be somewhere over the Atlantic on my way to CHA! I have been looking forward to this day for MONTHS and will have lots of photos to share whilst I’m there. For my card this week I’ve paired (geddit??) a gorgeous sentiment from the recently released So Very Merry stamp set with the gorgeous WPlus9 Pear Stackers (LOVE this little set of dies). Of COURSE I managed to add some foiling into the design this time making use of the Heidi Swapp Toner Pen (I ran it around the edge of my mat and on the leaf and stalk of the pen) before running it through the Minc with gold foil. I spritzed the panel with Heidi Swapp Gold Lame spray and added some onto the pear (which I coloured with Distress Inks in Crushed Olive and Worn Lipstick). I stamped the sentiment in Versamark before embossing it in Gold and finishing off with some thread and a few strategically placed sequins!
