One of my favourite things to do is add metallic foil to things! It’s messy and fiddly but the end result is so worth it. Tim Holtz ideaology is such a fun thing to use this technique with.

I created this card using Salvaged Heart and covered them in red metallic foil. I adhered one to a Distress watercolour card base that I added Distress inks to in a smooshy fashion!

Here I added foil in rainbow colours to some salvaged deer from Tim Holtz Ideaology!

The possibilities are truly endless!

So I’m thinking I might have a bit of a sweet tooth when it comes to card making! After my chocolate box creation last week, here I am again with more! This time using the gorgeous Sweet Chocolates Stamps from Pretty Pink Posh. I stamped a bunch of them and started colouring. I made Strawberry treats, then I went with Chocolate orange and then mint chocolate!! The first two are shakers then the last one was just for fun!!!

I used stencilling, dies, fussy cutting and Copic colouring on all three cards and the same sentiment too.

Love is In The Air

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

So who knows what this card is telling you about me?? That’s right, I LOVE Tiffany jewellery and I’m lucky that my hubby has treated me to a few pieces over the years. There’s nothing like getting that instantly recognisable box and white ribbon! So when I pulled this True Love by Tim Holtz die set out along with the Perfect Bow die from Simon Says Stamp, the idea of a Tiffany box of chocolates was born!!

I created the card base from the perfect Tiffany blue (Audrey Blue by Simon) and added the sentiment and trim using Holographic card. I cut the bow and added ribbon strips using Neenah Solar White. The sentiment is a retired Avery Elle die set but a very similar one by Concord and 9th is available HERE)

I then went to work making the chocolates using different cardstocks (white, brown, blue and beige. The wrappers are cut from vellum. I coated them all in Glossy Accents then added them to the card base.
