We are showcasing Altenew Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

My card is all about the embossing this week! I picked up the Altenew Mini Sentiments Embossing Folder which has a bunch of really useful sayings and is just a different way to include a sentiment on your card other than stamping or die cutting. I embossing a piece of white card ten cut it down so I had individual embossed sentiment strips which I can customise to any colour for future projects! For this autumnal card I ran a Fossilised Amber distress oxide ink pad over the raised letters to compliment the rest of the colours in the card.

I have said it before but I am IN LOVE with Simon’s 3D Embossing Folders – that are so detailed and incredible to work with. This Simon Says Stamp Forest Floor Embossing Folder is my latest favourite. I embossed a piece of Distress Watercolour Cardstock (die cut using the SSS A2 Rectangle Dies) and then used Distress Watercolour Pencils to add colour to the embossed areas. To finish I blended some ink around the edges and adhered it to an A2 card base and added some twine.

We are showcasing Studio Light Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

One of my favourite paper pads I’ve ever used is the Studio Light Photorealistic Paper pad. It has such stunning designs and I’ve used it so many times.

I have owned this Lovely Layers Hoosier Cabinet die set by HoneyBee Stamps since last year and haven’t had a chance to use it yet so thought this would be the perfect opportunity. I chose 2 of the wood effect papers and die cut the elements – I love this clever set. I die cut elements from the Hoosier Cabinet die set and some elements from the Lovely Layers Fireplace Falloween Add on set to create a cute little fall cabinet.

Clean and Simple

We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp Products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

I fell in love with the autumnal designs in this year’s STAMPtember release – especially these Simon Says Stamp Autumn Leaves dies and Acorn Bundle Dies, I dies cut a whole bunch of them from inky backgrounds I created as well as some patterned papers from my stash and some cardstock snippets (great for using up scraps).

I started with a panel of Distress Watercolour Cardstock and die cut a rectangle slightly smaller than A2. I smooshed some Antique Linen Distress Oxide Pad onto the panel and set aside to dry. I then sprayed a light spatter of Antique Linen Spritz. I stamped and die cut the Thank You sentiment from the Altenew Pocket Sentiments stamps and die set and arranged it with a cluster of leaves onto the card finishing off with some gems.
