Simon Says Stamp Happy Camper Release

Hey there! I’m thrilled to be sharing the news about a brand new release from Simon Says Stamp called Happy Camper. This is a gorgeous new collection of stamps, dies, embossing folders and other bits and bobs and I can’t wait to show you what I’ve made with a selection of the products from the release.

First up is this card using the cute Shoot for the Moon stamp set. I started with a top fold A2 white card base and used the A2 Rectangle Dies to cut panels for my background. The large panel I ran through the new Mid Century Ethereal Embossing Folder then blended Tumbled Glass and Broken China Distress Oxide ink onto it and added some water splatters!

I cut two smaller rectangles (one from navy blue card and one from white). I used the “smooshing” technique with Distress Oxide ink and water to create a water coloured pattern on the white panel). I stamped the images from the Shoot For the Moon set and and coloured them with Copics before fussy cutting them.

The next card also features the fabulous Mid century Ethereal Embossing Folder. This time I smooshed it once it was embossed onto a mixture of Crushed Olive and Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide ink.

I used the new Chunky Scallop Circles Dies and cut and panel from the corner of a piece of Concord and 9th Aqua Sky cardstock. I die cut some flowers from the Groovy Flowers Die Set from Sprout, Aqua Sky and Buttercup C&9th cardstock and arranged them onto the corner panel.

I finished by stamping a sentiment from the Sweet Birthday stamp set using Sprout ink.

My last card uses the same colour palette of Aqua Sky, Sprout and Buttercup with Oceanside card (Concord and 9th). Once again, I used the Mid Century Ethereal Embossing Folder in two panels and die cut the flower centres from the Groovy Flowers Dies.

I die cut the new ILYSM dies and stamped the sentiment from the the accompanying ILYSM stamp set.
