Simon Says … Make It Colourful

Hi all, and welcome to another week on the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

This week the challenge is…

MAKE IT COLORFUL

We want to see you use LOTS of fabulous COLOR in your projects this week! Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple and MORE! Use your favorites and use LOTS of ’em!

We are showcasing DOODLEBUG PRODUCTS this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see what you do with them! Doodlebug is known for having super fun, colorful products, so they are PERFECT for this challenge!

So when it comes to colourful, Doodlebug are the experts! I love the fabulous paper pads and embellishments the produce and the way everything co-ordinates so beautifully makes creating cards a cinch! Looking out of my window today you’d think we were in the middle of Winter – it hasn’t stopped raining for days! This happy card is just what I need to remind me that it’s still just about Summer, lol!!!

Hey there! Another scheduled post from me as I’m currently grabbing some wifi time in our Bangkok hotel room! Ah, it’s a hard life, lol!

Not that I want to even think about it but this week’s challenge is all about Back To School – booo! I want all posts to be about Summer – yay! I created a simple Good Luck card using products from the Simon says Stamp May 2015 Card Kit – which is still available to purchase if you’re quick! I used some of the patterned paper from the kit to cover the front of an A2 card and then cut a circle using the MFT Cross-Stitched Circle dies from Slate cardstock. I used the gold letter stickers from the kit to spell out Good Luck and then mounted the circle onto the card using foam adhesive.
