Baby cards

A couple of baby cards I made a wee while ago. I just love the little stamp of the baby in the towel – it’s so cute. I put a bit of diamond glaze on the feet and duckie to make them stand out a wee bit. The flowers around the aperture are a tiny wee punch I have – sore thumbs after but worth it.

Acetate cards.

Have been playing around again with acetate this evening. Actually quite pleased with how they turned out but as ever my photography skills being what they are – they don’t look quite as good in the pics. Never mind.

Seasonal subject!

As we’re getting near to that time of year I thought I post one of my halloween LO’s I did a wee whie back. This is my wee Georgia dressed as a pumpkin at Church Farm. They have a Haunted Hayride there each year which gets better and more spooktacular every year. We are going to be in Turkey for Halloween this year so will miss out on all our usual festivities. Will just have to try to enjoy the beach instead!!

Tinkering with my blog!

Have a wee play here most days and today thought I would have a go at adding a slideshow! I have now managed to add 2 of them – hurrah! I have loads of layouts to photograph or scan but thought I’d start uploading some of my older ones onto my blog. This layout was published some time ago in Scrapbook Inspirations magazine. It is from our dream holiday (pre-kids) to Australia and Asia.

Handbags at dawn!

A little card for a girly friend who’s mad about bags and shoes. The pp is from the K&Co stack – can’t remember what ‘it’s called! Bags are a little Ellison die.

The sun shined today!!

I have a spring in my step today just because it’s sunny. Hurrah!
Did my Black and White christmas class last night. Had a great time and think the cards went down well.
This is a card I’m working on for my “Bling it On” class. Not sure if this is the finished article yet but I quite like it.

Floral garland – the wedding version.

Another sample of the garland card but this time all in white. I think I’m going to do a lot of my christmas cards along this line this year. Maybe try it with holly or different sized circles for baubles?

More embossing!

These are two more embossed cards. I love the Mickey cricut cartridges – they make great embellishments for kids cards. I must get on with my Disney album too – only a year and 4 months since we were there!

Been playing with my embossing folders!

A selection of cards I’ve made over the last couple of weeks. I think these cuttlebug embossing folders are just amazing – great effects to be had. The possibilities are endless.

A card for Portia

It’s my friend Portia’s big 4 0 tommorrow so I made her this.
