A couple of months ago, a friend of mine asked me if I’d make her a few cards for a few different events she had coming up. One of them was her daughter Imogen’s First Holy Communion. Imogen is quite a girly girl so I thought lots of glitter and shine would be right up her street. I printed what I wanted for the front of the card onto a panel of white card using my laser printer then ran it through the Minc machine with silver foil. I created a square card base and put an overlay on it using foiled acetate from We R Memory Keepers (love this product). To finish I cut a strip of glitter card and also die cut a bow using the Perfect Bow die from Simon Says Stamp and added a little diamond cross to the centre.
It is so pretty Caryn! I was wondering, how did you attach the foiled acetate? Only in the middle under the focal panel? I have a colourful pad too, but hardly use it as the glue would show through. Thanks so much! Hugs from Budapest, Zsofi
Gorgeous card! Love the glittery bow 🙂

Simon Says Stamp!
Gorgeous card Caryn, I am sure Imogen loves it too! I love the foil and the little diamond cross, beautiful 🙂
What a beautiful card and keepsake of a special day.
This is gorgeous, Caryn! My Hubby got me a Minc for my birthday and I already ordered a few different colored foils in anticiption of Christmas. This gives me yet another idea!
