MFT Sketch Challenge #264

264

When I was at CHA I was lucky enough to hang out with some of the gorgeous and fabulously fun MFT girls.  I got to meet Laina Lamb, the designer of some of my all time favourite MFT stamp sets and she was kind enough to give me the brand new Undeniable Chemistry stamps and dies to have a play with.  I don’t often get time to join in with many challenges these days but I thought this week’s sketch was pretty fab so I used it to start me off.  I turned it on it’s side but it’s still there!!

I created a background using various images from the set and stamped them in Avery Elle Fog pigment ink.  I added a few touches of colour using Zig Clean Colour markers and added a wee bit of bling here and there with some adhesive sequins.  I used the belt die from the Santa Suit Die-namics and cut a panel of purple cardstock and one of vellum and finished by stamping and embossing the sentiment in white.

Whilst I was in the scientific mood I thought I’d carry on and created this little 4-bar card using some of the cute dies.  I blended on some Distress ink and splashed a wee bit of water to give the bubble effect.

Thanks Laina and MFT – it was so amazing to meet you in “the flesh”!
