I’m back today with one last look at one of the new sets being released this month at Clearly Besotted. Today I’m sharing a card made with a very stylish little set called “Accent It“. I thought this set would be great for background building designs so with the help of my MISTI (no way I could’ve lined the stamps up without it) I created this design. Although the colours are a bit bright for her, I thought the pattern was a bit reminiscent of Orla Kiely – maybe it’s just me!
I used Avery Elle pigment inks in Magenta and Daisy, stamping alternate colours to create the pattern. I used a piece of plastic as an aid to placing the stamp so it was lined up perfectly each time – I would never have attempted this and got it to work so perfectly without the MISTI – I love this thing!
I finished off the card with some Doodlebug Sprinkles and stamped the sentiment from another new set this month called Sugar and Spice in Onyx black Versafine ink.
Well that’s it from me. Don’t forget the new release goes live tonight at 10pm – woohoo! Check out the rest of the design team for more fabulous examples.
Such a beautiful card with beautiful colors!
This is so beautiful! I really like the colour combo, superb!
Fabulous card. Got to dig my Stamp-a-magic from storage to try this technique. Cheers!
I love this! Yes, very Orla , she has the flower pattern on her latest Clarke’s shoes 🙂
Wow!! Very cool design…would have never thought of it…thanks!!
Love what you’ve done with these stamps, and those colours are gorgeous. I sooo want a MISTI but I think it could be some time 🙁 xx

Stunning card Caryn, and yes it does remind me of Orla Kiely! My MISTI is somewhere in the country, probably in customs. I am hoping it gets to me soon! Have a great Easter xx
This is amazing Caryn, and so perfectly lined up, what a great tool! The colours look fabulous together. Happy Easter.xx
