Elegant Butterflies…

… is the next set I’m highlighting from the new March release from Clearly Besotted Stamps. This set is just beautiful and is sure to be just as popular as Stephanie’s Butterfly Wishes set – one of the very first ones she ever released (wow, that seems like AGES ago now!!).  The possibilities with this set are just endless and with the ever-important co-ordinating dies, I predict this is going to, quite literally, fly off the shelves on release night!!  The first card shows three of the butterfly images included in the set and I have stamped them in Memento Tuxedo black and then coloured them with Copics.

My second card is little less “clean” – I’ve been at it again with my Heidii Swapp colour shine mists (LOVE them).  I die cut the stem from Leafy Accents Die Collection from masking paper then adhered it to my card before spraying the mists (Seafoam and Gold Lame).  When you remove the mask you are left with a subtle, outline effect where the masking paper was.  It’s easier to see the effect (and of course it’s much more shimmery) in real life!!

Happy Birthday March

That’s it for today but I have even more tomorrow so hope to see you again then!!

Don’t forget – the new release will go live at 10pm on Wednesday 5th March!
