Well happy weekend all – cold innit? I am nursing a bruised bottom today (thanks to a wee slip on the ice this morning – grrrr) – so thought I’d put my sudden immobility to some use and create a card for my brother’s birthday (which is actually today so is going to be a tad belated – sorry Dan!!)
I was inspired by the new CAS-ual Fridays Challenge which is to be inspired by a movie. I LOVE movies and one of my all time favourite actors is Robert DeNiro. This card is a nod to one of his best films, The Deerhunter. All products are Papertrey Ink (Masculine Motifs and A Little Argyle stamp sets – so underused but so useful for blokey cards!)

I love this card Caryn, it’s amazing! Fab colour choice, use of background stamp and the deer is gorgeous. Very different for a blokey card!!

What a GREAT take on the Deer Hunter movie! I love the subtle tones and and stamping. Perfect masculine card for a brother! So glad that you join the fun with us at CAS-ual Fridays!
