Hey folks. Having a go at this weeks Make It Monday challenge over on Nichole Heady’s blog. This week it’s reverse masking (which seems a bit like stencilling to me but hey ho!!). I die cut the middle sized star from the Stars die set and used it to mask an outline into which I stamped one of the paint-splattery-type stamps from Grunge Me in Pure Poppy, Hawaiian Shores and Summer Sunrise. I also blended a bit round the edge with the blender tool thingy (don’t you just love my grasp of the english language today!!)
Oh, and although she’s just a tad over 6 it’s also Aimes‘ birthday today so have a great day hunny pie – hope to see you soon.
Hugs,
Caryn xxx
Love the bright colors and the stamp you used inside the mask.
Wow, what a great card! The design is so perfectly suited for the reverse masking technique. Love your splatters!
What a fabulous childrens card Caryn. So bright and fresh.
